Not so long ago you had to be left handed or buy a “band aid” to get a signal on the iPhone 4 and now there’s the iPhone 4S battery issues to contend with.  About as much energy as a teenager without their daily dose of Monster Energy I’d say!

The iOS 5.0.1 was supposed to unleash the beast from its shackles but it’s not been the cure that Apple hoped for, despite their statement that:

“The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices,”

Clever use of the word “many” guys, we’d just prefer you to say “all”. It cold be that an further iOS update is due but I’m not sure if I can cope with going through another few hours of downloading.  The irony is that the iPhone 4S would probably run out of power before the update finished (Yeah, I would plug it in to charge but you get the point!).

The problem isn’t unique to Apple of course and it’s something that smartphone manufacturers are going to have to address as technology advances even further.  Are there any phones out that cope with 3G and apps?

How about we just go back to using phones for making calls and socialising by actually meeting our friends in real life!  Now there’s a thought.   Until the World comes to its senses, let’s just hope for another iOS update!

Freebiejeebies processed my order in a matter of days this time.  I was toying with the idea of getting them to order me a free Xbox 360 Kinnect but decided against that; I’m still using a free Wii from them!

The cash will come in handy for the wife’s birthday present for Saturday, so thanks again guys!

PS – I’m really not sure why people are so desperate to try and get of pre-release copies of the game.  Yeah, it looks awesome, but does a day or two really matter?  Is it worth risking your Xbox Live subscription just to be able to say you got to “own” before M3 release date.

Another £442 arrived in my bank a few moments ago and it’s only fair to thank Giveaway Network’s users, who are one of my biggest source of incentive traffic and referrals.

It’s so easy even your dog can do it…well, they could if they could use a computer and discover Freebiejeebies!

This latest bank transfer is based on 26 referrals at £17 each, which I’d earnt over the last two to three weeks.

I could have taken £520 in free gifts but needed the money to pay for tyres on the wife’s car.

Apple has improved its iPhone 4 deals and with the iOS 5 update, you’ll have virtually the same functionality for a fraction of the cost.  If little Johnny gets what we’ll call an “iPhone 4S lite” in his Christmas stocking, he’s hardly going to be disappointed!

The iPhone 4 is free on most networks, starting at as little as £35 a month Three Network and only £41 with Vodafone.

It really comes down to personally choice.  Is the iPhone 4S worth the additional outlay?  Some will say so just to get their hands on the latest tech but you can’t ignore cost in this time of osterity.  We’re the Giveaway Network after all, saving you money is what we are all about!
